Bursting through the door in somewhat of a panic, the kindly Doctor Wombat takes refuge behind a rather large sofa, fumbling for the remote in a panic and trembling slightly as he switches the tv set onto News-R-Us to watch the live events as the unfold on the lawn of the White House.
With obvious concern, the marsupial medic watches as heavily armed secret service agents surround a madman who appears to be ranting about how 'terrorists' poisoned his wife and children in some obscure part of Arizona.... Once he is taken down, Doc Wombat flips off the TV and tosses the remote aside, fearing that if it is left on he will be drawn to another exciting episode of the World Menstal Poker Championship.
"I -- I was only trying to see which whether or not I could get it to flow down both sides of the Great Divide!! Just for kicks!! I had no idea it would have some sort of enviromental impact!! Who knew it would find its way into the drinking water!!!"
The kindly Doctor then covers his face with a pillow, shouting out in a somewhat muffled voice. "Does this mean I am a part of the Gee-hawdy Movement!!!??" as he uncharacteristicly wets himself -- a strange, somewhat flourecent liquidly substance spilling out of his blatter and illuminating the dark recesses of the sofa where he has taken refuge.....
- the kindly Doctor Wombat
"Hey!! Who was the last person to sit on this pillow, anyway!!!??"

If you have never seen Trailer Park Boys
you should seriously check out this show.
It's a mockumentary about these guys in a trailer park in Canada, and their exploits. It is absolutely one of the best shows on TV.
Honestly, I had to watch a couple of episodes before it really all came together, but it's hilarious, and if you've ever known people that lived in a trailer park... well, you seriously have to wonder if these guys somehow did know them too. Funny, funny shit.

Some would-be spectators hoping to attend Vice President Dick Cheney's rally in Rio Rancho this weekend walked out of a Republican campaign office miffed and ticketless Thursday after getting this news: Unless you sign an endorsement for President George W. Bush, you're not getting any passes.
The Albuquerque Bush-Cheney Victory office in charge of doling out the tickets to Saturday's event was requiring the endorsement forms from people it could not verify as supporters.( Rest under the cut...Collapse )
Don't you love living in Bush's America?
